Music Recommendation: Joanna Newsom

Joanna Newsome is an American singer, pianist and harp player from Nevada City, California. Her voice isn't very mainstream and isn't for everyone. It has been called child like by some and mesmerizing by others. She has released three albums to date including "The Milk-Eyed Mender", "Ys", and "Have One on Me". It's hard to recommend her songs as some of them are 12-17 minutes long depending on the album that you listen to. I strongly suggest checking out "Emily", "Soft As Chalk", "Ribbon Bows", and "Have One On Me" amongst others.
