Music Recommendation: The Sounds

The Sounds are another Swedish indie rock/ new wave band that has received a lot of attention thus far. Originally founded in Helsingborg in 1999 they have released three albums including "Living in America", "Dying to Say This to You", and "Crossing the Rubicon". Although the first two albums had a lot more success then their last album, "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" has gathered a lot of attention worldwide. Maja Ivarsson has also attracted a lot of attention from the gay community for being openly bisexual.

The band has also JUST released "Something To Die For" on March 29th and has started to make a name for itself touring with bands such as the Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Morningwood, Angels & Airwaves, +44, Mando Diao, Panic! At The Disco, No Doubt and Paramore. Here is a single from their latest album as well:
