Music Recommendation: The Weepies

This indie folk band consists of Deb Talan and Steve Tannen. Unlikely most bands, the two members are married, have children and currently reisde in Topanga, California. In fact, their first album "Happiness" was actually a wedding present from a close friend. It wasn't however until they released their second album "Say I Am You" that they received majority of their success. The album features songs such as "World Spins Madly On", "Gotta Have You", "Stars", and "Painting by Chagall". The entire album is solid with other less popular songs "Take It From Me" and "Nobody Knows Me At All". The band has also released albums "Hideaway" and "Be My Thrill".
