Food Recommendation: Kimchi
This fermented Korean Dish is simiar to that of a Cabbage Roll. Although their are hundreds of different styles of Kimchi, the base of most consist of napa cabbage. Other popular variations consist of Cucumber, Scallions, and Radish dishes. You can have Kimchi as a side dish or make it into a stew. In either case it is always a good idea to add red peppers or chili pepppers to add some spice. You can then add garlic, oninons, green onions and fish sauce.
Although the dish is smelly and can be very sour (depending on how long it is fermented) Kimchi is a Korean standard that North American people should come to love. It is a healthy, inexpensive and sustainable alternative to western cuisine. Now if I could just actually take the time to properly learn how to make the stuff I would be set.
